This blog still alive!

Sorry for not blogging for the past two months due to the heavy workloads. The Reds surviving pretty well in their last five matches. DIC negotiating to buyout George Gillet's share in LFC is still on-going. And Liverpool Football Club is just 10 points off the leader Arsenal in the Premier League with the same amount of matches played. Fernando Torres is in red-hot form, only two more goals from El-Nino to equal Ronaldo's 21 goals in the EPL.

Stay tune for more news!

Momo going to Juventus

Mohamed Sissoko was lined up for the exit door and would be heading to Juventus before January transfer window close. His failure to features regularly in Rafa starting XI since joining Liverpool from Valencia in the summer of 2005 due to the arrival of Javier Mascherano. Although, he is not one of the fans favorite but at least he has tried his best to fit into the English premier league.

“My reason is a very simple one, I am young and I want to play,” he said. “In Liverpool, I’m not playing.

Momo SissokoThank God! Please polish your passing skills before you called yourself an established footballer. No doubt that Momo is a very good tackler and ball winning midfielder but he need to pass the ball accurately too. So, I wish you all the best playing for Juventus.

He said: "I've known Ranieri since my time at Valencia. I did really well with him.

I hope so. Maybe Italian Serie A is more suitable for Momo. His departure to Juve will profit the Yankees with at least £10M in transfer fee and next we want to see Mascherano loan to be make permanently in the summer. If Tom and George, let slip this opportunity, their time as the co-owners of Liverpool Football Club are numbered as I'm not joining the other supporters in crucifying the Yanks yets but I will if Rafa walks.

Liverpool held... again!

Fernando TorresAnother lacklustre displays from Liverpool at Riverside Stadium last Saturday. Liverpool's title ambitions suffered another blow when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough. Clearly, this season team's performance has deteriorated with the on-going saga behind the scene between Rafa and the owners.

Liverpool fell behind on the 26th minutes through Goerge Boateng's goal after a defensive error from Alvaro Arbeloa for heading the ball back across Liverpool's goal only for Jeremie Aliadiere to nodded into Boateng's path.

Boro has controlled majority of the match and almost scored the second goal when Downing rattled the post in 67th minutes. Luck was beginning to favour our side as four minutes later after Downing's shot was denied by the post, Torres fired a screamer from 25 yards that beats Schwarzer and went in off the post.

Liverpool piled on the pressures for the remains 20 minutes but their belated show of urgency has reap no reward. Drew in the last 4 matches in a row now and failed to capitalised on Gunners 1-1 draw to Birmingham, means we are still 12 points off Manchester United and Arsenal in the league with a game on hand.

Martin Skrtel passes medical

Martin SkrtelLiverpool search for a central defender ended with Martin Skrtel, a Slovakia international from Russia's Zenit St. Petersburg will be completing his formality later today after passing his medical at Melwood. Skrtel will become the most expensive defender in Liverpool history, he rumored to be cost around £6.5M and Rafa hopes he can travel with the team to Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The injury list at Anfield continues to plague Liverpool's defence as Fabio Aurelio is the latest casualty. Aurelio suffered a minor hamstring injury.

With Daniel Agger still continuing his rehabilitation from a broken metatarsal, Rafa has been short of cover at centre back for several months and was keen to add competition for places to such a crucial position.

I don't know how good is Martin Skrtel, but he's a towering defender at 6'4" tall will be good enough to cover the aging Hyypia, who being playing since Agger was injured.
