Liverpool have agreed a deal with Greek side Panathinaikos for the sale of winger Sebastian Leto. The Argentine spent last season with rivals Olympiacos after work permit problems prevented him playing for the Reds. Leto signed for Liverpool in August 2007 after Rafa Benitez beat the likes of Real Betis and River Plate to his signature. The 22-year old made his competitive debut in a Champions League qualifier against Toulouse on August 28, 2007 - one of four senior games. Leto leads Anfield exodus
Sebastian Leto is set for Anfield departure after reports in the Greek media has mentioned Liverpool have accepted a bid from Panathinaikos. According to the reports, the Greek club has bid in the region of £3million for the Argentinian midfielder. Leto has spent last season on loan at Olympiakos, after problems securing a work permit to play in Britain and made 22 appearances for them.
