Has he gone to Sunderland or has he not? The future of Liverpool striker David N’Gog still hangs in the balance after the Reds has completed the signing of Jordan Henderson from Sunderland.
The French striker arrived from Paris Saint Germain in July 2008.
He is one of the brightest young talents in French football, scoring goals at every youth level for his country, including two absolute corkers against England U19s in 2007.
He made his Liverpool debut as a substitute against Aston Villa on August 31, 2008. A first goal followed away at PSV on December 9.
He also made 94 appearances for the Reds and scored 19 goals.
Liverpool is rumoured to be chasing another English young talent from Ipswich Town. N’Gog will be pushed further down the pecking order if the rumours are to be true.
In the latest interview, Director of Football, Damien Comolli has been quizzed about the future of the 22-year-old French striker. Comolli has mentioned that Sunderland have had a strong interest in him. Liverpool has agreed to let N’Gog speak to Sunderland about his future to see if he's interested in going there.
There aren’t any news yet on this transfer but I do wish David all the best, if he decided to part with Liverpool FC in the coming week.
