qpr v liverpool The last time this two teams met at Anfield, Liverpool emerged victorious with Luis Suarez scoring the only goal in that match in December 2011. Queens Park Rangers will now host Liverpool at Loftus Road, many betting site are favouring Liverpool to beat QPR and get more Football Betting Tips from Betfair for this match.

Despite changing managers and spending heavily in January in order to secure Premier League survival, Queens Park Rangers find themselves rooted in the relegation zone with just 10 games remaining.

For Mark Hughes' side, the situation is now approaching critical. The London outfit also have the toughest run in, on paper, of any of the sides near the foot of table, with games still to come against Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester City, not to mention an in-form Swansea side.

And things will not be easy for QPR on Wednesday, up against Liverpool.

Liverpool have put their hat-trick of League defeats firmly behind them, but it won’t be far from typical if they were to slip up at Loftus road. After convincingly defeating Everton in the League through a Steven Gerrard hat-trick, Liverpool did well to grind out a narrow win against Stoke City in the FA Cup.

Luis Suarez has recently shown his eagerness to sign a new contract, which has come as a major boost for the club at a time when speculations around his transfer had grown enough to unsettle everyone at the club. However, Dirk Kuyt admits he may be forced to leave if he isn’t offered more first team opportunities; whether Dalglish reacts to that is to be seen.

Team news

Adel Taarabt is back in contention for QPR.

Playmaker Taarabt missed Rangers' controversial defeat at Bolton 10 days ago with a hamstring strain but has had plenty of time to recover.

Injury-plagued striker DJ Campbell is back in training and could return early next month, as could top scorer Heidar Helguson (groin).

Defender Glen Johnson and forward Craig Bellamy are both likely to miss out for Liverpool.

The former has not played since the Carling Cup final victory over Cardiff last month while Bellamy has sat out the last two matches.

Centre-back Daniel Agger is still recovering from a broken rib.

QPR Probable Line-up: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Traore, Barton (c), Derry, Diakite, Wright-Phillips, Zamora, Cisse

Liverpool Probable Line-up: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Henderson, Spearing, Gerrard, Downing, Carroll, Suarez
