Liverpool to offload Konchesky to Leicester City

Liverpool hope to start clearing their deadwood this week with Paul Konchesky considering a move to Leicester City. According to Telegraph, Konchesky will fly out to join Eriksson in Sweden tonight for a medical and is set to complete a £1.5 million move, barely 12 months after joining Liverpool.

Konchesky followed Roy Hodgson to Anfield from Fulham for £4 million last summer and, like his former manager, has endured a dreadful time on Merseyside. He spent the end of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
